Arm
Sleeves - 1/3/2012
- We
should now all be clear on the wearing of arm sleeves.
The rule still states that they must be worn for medical purposes.
Beginning in the 2011, 2012 season the
medical purpose is now determined between the player, coach, AD and the
NHIAA. As officials, we need
only ask if the player has the necessary NHIAA waiver and that it is
present at the game. We do
still rule on the legality of the arm sleeve based on the color
requirements and logo requirements specified in rules 3.5.3a-c and 3-6.
