IAABO EXECUTIVE BOARD MEETING

MINUTES

Call To Order: By President Zecha  6:30 PM

Attending: Dedopoulos, Dichard, Fronk, Kyle, Lehouillier, Marcotte, Matte, Moylan, Ordway, Pelletier, Plumer, Rossetti, Vickery, Wolff, Zecha

Absent:  Drisoll, Semprini, Tostevin

Candidates Attending: Brewster Gove, Dennis Murphy, Chick Smith

President Zecha stated the purpose of the meeting was to hear each of the candidates speak and answer questions about their interest and qualifications to fill the balance of term of Board 32 Supervisor (term expires March 2012).  President Zecha set the meeting procedures.  All candidates were asked to leave the meeting room and each was called individually to speak of their interest and qualifications immediately followed by questions from the Board 32 Executive Board Members present.  After all candidates were heard and questioned, discussion by Board 32 Executive Committee followed by a written ballot vote.

Presentations were heard and all questions answered by candidates, Gove, Murphy and Smith.

President Zecha asked the group for discussion.  No discussion was needed and ballots were distributed.

Ballots were collected and counted by Stu Dedopoulos and the results given to President Zecha.

President Zecha announced that Chick Smith was voted to be the Supervisor of Officials for Board 32 to fill the remainder of the current term.  President Zecha asked Ordway to notify all candidates immediately of the decision.

The next meeting was set for Sunday, September 25, 2011 at the Radisson Hotel in Manchester to follow the IAABO Fall Seminar Interpretation Seminar.  The time will be determined based on the completion of the Fall Seminar.

There being no further business a motion was made and seconded (Pelletier/Marcotte) to adjourn.

Motion passed (14 for, 0 against, 0 abstained).

Meeting adjourned at 8:45 PM
